END OF YEAR ASSESSMENT REVISION

Good luck to all the boys revising for their French assessments!

Years 3 and 4 will have a listening and a speaking assessment.

Years 5 and 6 will have a listening, reading and writing assessment in assessment week and a speaking assessment the following week.

Year 5: French play audio


The Year 5 will be given their part for the French play tomorrow and will have to read their lines and learn them over the Easter holidays. If you are stuck with the pronunciation of the words, listen to the following recordings, divided in scenes of the play.
Have your script whilst you listen, cross out the letters that you would not pronounce and annotate the pronunciation to remember it in class!

Year 5: trip to Lille information - get your place!!


The 2013 Year 5 Trip to Lille will take place on Saturday 22 June! [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyGG2MhHseA] 

Welcome to the historical city of Lille!

The trip will involve:
 - a journey by Eurostar
 - a guided visit of Modern and Old Lille http://france-for-visitors.com/north/lille/vieux-lille.html 
 - a visit to a French cafĂ© and lunch consisting of a filled baguette and a drink http://www.briochedoree.fr/produits/sandwich-a-emporter/
 - a visit to the Palais des Beaux Arts www.palaisdesbeauxarts.fr 
- an opportunity for shopping.
